Journal Submission Guidelines

<응용언어학(Korean Journal of Applied Linguistics, ALAK Journal)>은 외국어 및 제2언어로서의 영어교육, 한국어교육 분야에서 언어 관련 문제 및 해결과 관련된 응용언어학 제반 영역에 대한 논문 투고를 받습니다. 교실 및 학교 상황 이외의 언어 상황과 관련된 논문 투고도 포함합니다.

<응용언어학, ALAK Journal>에 게재되는 논문의 유형은 다음과 같습니다.

실험, 조사 등과 같은 활동을 통해 얻은 경험적인 자료를 근거로 하여 연구의 독창적인 의의를 제시한 논문,

기존 논문이나 연구 성과물을 분석하여 다루고자 하는 주제를 명확히 한 리뷰 논문,

기존 이론에 대한 검증 및 발전을 시도하여 이론적 기여를 한 논문,

응용언어학과 관련된 연구방법론적인 개선을 시도하여 새로운 방법론을 제시한 논문,

개인 및 개별 기관을 대상으로 하여 영어교육 또는 한국어교육과 관련된 문제 및 해결책을 연구한 사례 연구 논문 등

논문 투고 및 발행 일정은 다음과 같습니다.

1호(봄): 투고 마감 – 12월 31일, 발행 – 3월 31일

2호(여름): 투고 마감 – 3월 31일, 발행 – 6월 30일

3호(가을): 투고 마감 – 6월 30일, 발행 – 9월 30일

4호(겨울): 투고 마감 – 9월 30일, 발행 – 12월 31일

연구윤리 규정의 준수

<응용언어학, ALAK Journal>에 논문을 투고할 때는 한국응용언어학회에서 제정하여 공표한 ‘연구윤리 규정’의 제반 사항을 사전에 확인하여 동의하고, 위반된 사항이 없도록 해야 합니다.

모든 논문 투고는 한국응용언어학회 논문 투고 시스템 사이트(https://alak.joss.co.kr/)를 통해 이루어 집니다.

논문 투고를 위해서는 한국응용언어학회의 회원 자격을 유지하고 계셔야 합니다.

회원이 아니신 경우 학회 JAMS 사이트를 통하여 회원 가입을 해주시고 연회비를 납부 바랍니다.

(가입비: 무료, 연회비 일반 3만원, 학부 및 대학원생 2만원)

또한 논문의 심사를 위해서는 6만원의 심사료를 논문의 투고 시 납부해 주셔야 합니다.

Korean Journal of Applied Linguistics is a professional, refereed journal which is published four times a year. As a publication that represents a variety of cross-disciplinary interests in the field of applied linguistics, Korean Journal of Applied Linguistics invites manuscripts on a wide range of topics such as:

computational linguistics, computer-assisted language learning, corpus linguistics, curriculum design & development, discourse analysis, English for specific purposes, intercultural communication, interlanguage pragmatics, language and ideology, language cognition, language policy, language testing, L2 instructional materials methods & techniques, psycholinguistics, second language acquisition, sociolinguistics, teacher development, translation, world Englishes

Since Korean Journal of Applied Linguistics embraces such a wide range of topics, it prefers that all submissions be written in a style that is accessible to a broad readership including those individuals who may not be knowledgeable in the subject matter.

Manuscripts for publication should be submitted online by:

December 31 for the March issue

March 31 for the June issue

June 30 for the September issue

September 30 for the December issue

All submissions should conform to the requirements of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA). The detailed information can be obtained from the American Psychological Association.
